Rabbi Seth Frisch

It is with great joy that we announce the appointment of Rabbi Seth Frisch as both rabbi and teacher of The New Shul of America.

Rabbi Frisch, ordained at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in New York City, studied the Art of Biblical Narrative as a graduate student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem under the mentorship of Dr. Shalom Paul, Chairperson of the Dead Sea Scrolls Foundation and former chair of the Bible Department of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

As an undergraduate student, Rabbi Frisch studied Government and International Relations while as a student serving as Legislative Assistant to the Chairman of the United States Senate, Committee on Foreign Relations, Area Concentration, United Arab Republic of Egypt. Rabbi Frisch continues to maintain a current and long standing Fellowship with the Office of the Chaplain of the United States Senate.

Later, Rabbi Frisch participated in 27 missions to Sudan and Ethiopia in order to strategically assist in Operation Moses, the Israeli and Ethiopian initiative to rescue Ethiopian Jewry.

Rabbi Frisch has appeared before both Houses of the United States Congress, selections of which are outlined below, addressing issues of public policy, both foreign and domestic.
